Lysle Style
Inspiration for Lysle Style began with a burgundy tulle tunic that I bought for an opening performance of Giselle. With a background in ballet, I love tulle’s flowing movement and full silhouettes. Subsequently I purchased a tiered skirt constructed with mesh fabric. I fell in love with the idea of layering sheer fabrics and realized my ability to design and create pieces that could be combined to create multiple looks. I began exploring designs using organza, mesh, chiffon and tulle, and I experimented with how sheer fabrics could be incorporated over, under and even within a garment to create versatile casual and formal looks. My asymmetrical designs evolved to include fabric manipulations such as ruching, pleating, tucking, flounces and godets.
Today, Lysle Style produces distinctive, layered silhouettes using both bold and neutral colors as well as graphic prints. Attention to detail and quality are central to the creation of every garment that I create. Pieces are designed to be interchangeable so that customers can create their own looks for any occasion. Lysle Style is dedicated to women confident in their design choices and unique style.

Inspiration for my most recent collection comes from the flowing movement seen in dance, in textiles, and in landscapes, both urban and pastoral. Additionally, I use color palettes and diverse, unusual textiles to influence unique looks incorporating multiple layers.
